Jewelry Care

Every jewelry is delicate and how you care for it will determine the lifespan of that jewelry.

We recommend with any type of jewelry that you remove it before working out, sleeping, showering, cleaning, swimming, washing the dishes, playing or doing any extreme sport activities to avoid damaging your jewelry, discoloration and/or loss of stones.

When unworn, secure your jewelry in an airtight container, pouch, or box away from direct heat or sunlight.

Waterproof Jewelry
14K Gold-Filled and Vermeil

14k gold-filled jewelry is bonded with real 14k gold over brass. Gold vermeil is plated with 18k gold over sterling silver. Both are great alternatives to solid gold and can be worn by those who have sensitive skin. The color will not tarnish and is water resistant. However, it is recommended to keep away from any harsh perfumes and lotions.

Gold Plated

Gold-plated jewelry is made by electroplating 18k gold onto durable brass and sterling silver. All metal will eventually oxidize or fade with natural wear. Gold-plated jewelry requires extra care, so it is encouraged for you to follow the care instructions to expand the longevity of your gold-plated jewelry.

Caring For Your Jewelry

Use a good quality cleaning solution, warm water and a soft cloth to clean your gold-plated items. We do not recommend using microfiber, cotton cloth or anything abrasive to clean your jewelry as this may strip and scratch away the plating.

Do not use harsh chemicals or cleaners that are not made for gold-plated jewelry.
Keep away from perfume, cosmetics, lotions, and any liquids.
Store your jewelry in an airtight jewelry bag, pouch, or box.
